I play the music with pianoteq and export with pianoteq to WAV 48.000hz. The only thing i edit upfront in pianoteq is the velocity curve and i take a preset and a piano that goes together with the piece. And then that file is merged with the video with a video editing program. So, there is no sound post processing whatsoever. Of course, the sound of the original video is muted.
I indeed lack the knowledge to even tweak pianoteq (apart from selecting a preset ). If Modartt would organize a (2 day) workshop about advanced usage of pianoteq, I would be the first to subscribe

kawai_user3535 wrote:

Well played and nicely recorded too.

Thank you Stig,
Yeah, pure melancholia this Bach.

Love the new version. The first note of this Bach was directly my first acquaintance with pianoteq 9 after fresh installation of v9. I recorded it directly from the first time as you hear it here. There was direct mental connection with the instrument (in this case a grotrian)

Take care and all the best and thank you so much for your kind words
paul

Pianoteqenthusiast wrote:

paulvanbladel wrote:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZTzr8waMHs

Every new version of Pianoteq feels like a step closer to the living, breathing reality of an instrument — and version 9 is a leap. It brings some places an easy sadness, but so beautiful.
And your hands goes so soft and smooth over the keys, a complete contact, and what a fantastic ending, so soft 4,17 - 4,26. Wonderful!

And Ptq 9 sounds in this piece, and with your playing, as a real piano!

Best wishes,

Stig
