(I wrote that the monitors were mic'ed. I'm assuming that's the case, since we hear the "thank you" at the end, and the piano sounds as though it's coming into the room.)

I think this is the very best Pianoteq sound I've ever heard! I'm curious to try his FXP, to see how different it sounds through headphones, vs that live recording with a mic.

EDIT: I see it's just "C3 Light". I suppose it could just be one of the stock C3 presets with a "light" velocity curve?

Not sure how I missed this video. From a distributor, demonstrating the sound over monitors. The audio isn't pristine--more of a "here's how it can sound if we put a mic in front of the speakers" take, but the resonances come out nicely:

(Dawson both plays with the Commodores and works for the distributor, I should add.)
