After reading this explanation I undersood what I heard.
”In a fugue, a real answer and a tonal answer differ in their treatment of the intervals between the voices. A real answer maintains the same intervals as the subject, while a tonal answer adjusts certain intervals to ensure they fit within the new key”.

This is not a fugue, but a toccata is always followed by a fugue. Anyway, there is something interesting in the chordprogression.

Thank you Unruh, for liking to discover composers who are not always known even to specialists. I can agree with your saying that they are exciting discoveries.

I once got a copy of a lost piece, not so known composer. It was not in any UK libraries. Piece Published in 1889. then been lost/unpuiblished, then one assistant organist at Hereford Cathedral have a copy!! My friend got it and I got it from my friend. And now I have a copy of a copy!!!
Nice to do this rare music with Organteq. Not the first, but probably the second in a LONG time!
You sometimes mention about "rare scores" - well this truly is!! It was 2021.

Because of your interest in composers who are not always known, I attach the piece and the whole story, for you Unruh.
I might upload it as a new post, later, as video, again because we have so many new users that don’t have time to go trough all 11,187 posts in this sub forum

     https://forum.modartt.com/viewtopic.php?id=8445

All the best,

Stig
