J. S. Bach - Toccata and Fugue in D minor BWV 565
My final version of this piece with Organteq 1, 09.05.2021.

J. S. Bach - Toccata and Fugue in D minor BWV 565, played with a better new fuller aggressiv registration version, more stops, also in pedal. BWV 565 is certainly the most famous organ piece in the Western world,
Media uses its dramatic sound as a cliché cue for spooky scenes and horror films.
Catchy Style: The loud, fast opening grabs listeners right away.

(The piece is too difficult for me to play these days, getting older, I’m nearing the age of 80, can I still live a productive satisfying life playing prq/orgtq in this forum for the next 10 years?
Not feeling at my best for the moment, tiredness, and stress).

2019 I was testing the presets in Bechstein. And I have been looking/listening to Jordan Rudess’ Music theory, Harmony explored, 41 videos. Learned, at least, that it’s important not to stop, let it ”flow”. Well, I hope you find some ”flow” in my playing…..

Modartt released the first version of Organteq November 27. 2019.

A quick look back with incredible recording examples. Although I love Organteq 2, I will never forget the beautiful sound possibilities with Organteq 1.

The truth and the judgement (test Organteq 1 January 2020)

Organteq 1 ( Modartt) was released in November 2019. Shortly after in January 2020, I did this test, one of my first, ”The truth and the judgment”, a fictional story, to see how Organteq can work as background music for fictional stories. Good sound, good result with the organ, nice stops, 3 manuals. (physical modeling, no samples at all)

I have to add that I was so eager and interested back at the start, that I didn't even have time to check how the pedal action works.

G F Händel "Allegro" from "The Cuckoo and the Nightingale”, Organteq 1 Händel himself played the solo organ part at its premiere in London in 1739.

This piece by Händel is so beautiful. It’s so clear that It speaks for itself. The birds, the name, the music….. wonderful!

This piece means a lot to me because someone said that…..my use of the Pianoteq electrified acoustic guitar sound does have quite the element of compressed transient sound of a heavily controlled acoustic distorted guitar going on - and that I play it quite like realistic guitar chops there too.

Using Classical Guitar Electrified and in background Organteq 1 + a pad and a bass.

Cradle Song by Harvey Grace (1874-1944)

This piece was one of the 4 demo pieces of mine for Organteq 1 that were on their demo site at the time Organteq 1 was released. The piece has a slow swing, which happens from the opening solo melody, right up until the final chord. In the middle section, there can be no doubt that birdsong is heard and stands out in a unique way.
