Cradle Song by Harvey Grace (1874-1944)

This piece was one of the 4 demo pieces of mine for Organteq 1 that were on their demo site at the time Organteq 1 was released. The piece has a slow swing, which happens from the opening solo melody, right up until the final chord. In the middle section, there can be no doubt that birdsong is heard and stands out in a unique way.

Well here I use Organtq as a soloist. Was seeking for sound like a mixture of soprano saxophone and trumpet.Got the idea to this version when listening to a jam session performance featuring three pianos, tuba and drums a saturday night. Was impressed.

Here, as I feel, one of my best compositions so far. As someone said, it is nice, spacious writing and have some unexpected harmonic twist.

Dancing Organteq was created after listening to a composer from Norway. Got the inspiration from his way of playing. I hope you can be in a good mood by this little piece, my repeated motifs and harmony, might be a little of jazz blues influenced works….

Some friends said you can't play a church organ without pedal, and you can't play entertainment music on a church organ. This piece showed the opposite. No pedal and wonderful music. Ha!

Old recording, 2017, with Pianoteq 5, nice sound already then. Don’t remember which preset it is.

Such a warm tone on this Bluthner from version 5. Thinking version 9 might have started to move back to that tone for the Bluthner.

This is the piano- video/piece among my currently 765 videos, that is the most popular/with the most views now, on my Youtube site and with 29 thumbs up. Unbelievable that it is Ptq U4!!!! (total number of views on the website over one hundred thousand 100,000)
This piano is warm and sweet, get such a rich full tone from the upright piano, a nice sounding upright piano, as a contrast to a Grand piano.
