I am struggling getting this correct.
I would like to have a strings overlay on top of the vst plugin.

I am not sure how to achieve this.
Does anyone know of a good strings vst  paid and how will i combine it with pianoteq.

In Pianoteq 8, there is a Steinway D New York preset (the very last one, called "Bowed") that does already that, perhaps you can use it (either alone or layering it out with another piano)?
