It helps to use the Velocity at the preset option &quot;Moderately slow keyboard&quot;</p><p>Additionally, in order to improve the pianoteq sound coming out of the FP30x internal speakers, it has helped me:<br />- removing reverb to get more clarity of sound<br />- reducing the resonance, bothe symp. and duplex. </p><p>The sound is not yet like the sound coming out of the headphones, but it is much better than using the default preset.</p><p>I keep investigating on ways to improve the sound for this device. One challenge is the donward facing speakers.</p><p>Has anybody else tweaked the settings for FP30x?</p>]]></content>

With Pianoteq, I pretty much have to set &quot;slow keyboard&quot; under the velocity curve, and &quot;enable global velocity curve&quot;, to realistically play any instrument. I replaced the FP-30 with the FP-60 (with traditional upward facing speakers) and that solved my problem.</p>]]></content>

I set this to 22 and use the default &#039;straight line&#039; velocity curve in Pianoteq.<br />&nbsp; I assume you are using the keyboard&#039;s internal speakers. If you want to improve the sound further with Pianoteq then a pair of external powered speakers will make a big difference.<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; John</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I don&#039;t have a FP30 but make sure you calibrate the velocity curve.&nbsp; I&#039;ve seen a few Pianoteq videos on YouTube where the person mentions the sound is too soft or too loud and their velocity was either very low (which I see on my Roland A88MKII) or very high b/c they didn&#039;t calibrate the curve.&nbsp; You can start off with the moderately soft or try soft.&nbsp; This is just one suggestion.&nbsp; Maybe others can comment about the speaker situation.</p><p>I love the Bosen sound as well.&nbsp; I also use the new Kawai with a few tweaks for Rock/Prog playing.</p>]]></content>
