In terms of style, it seems that the Bach wanted to follow the Italian taste for chamber music or church sonatas.</p><p>The theme of the «Prelude» also recalls me the first movement of the «Sonata» n. 5. It is presented in an imitative form and, due to its character and partly also due to its elaboration, it recalls the Concerto Grosso.</p><p>The «Fughetta» in its simplicity and&nbsp; its joyful character does not present elements worthy of particular note. Probably Bach wanted to put the students in a position to make their first contact with this musical form, presenting it to them in its simplest guise.</p><p>Thank you so much for sharing it!
