Small video comparison that I made between Pianoteq 8 Shigeru and Garritan CFX great concert.

(It's a little modeling against sample, mathematics against physics, electrons against molecules, Kawai against Yamaha)...

In short!

I did not try to completely match the sounds (which is very complicated as the parameters are numerous) but the peak levels are standardized. It will therefore be a sound as if out of the cover knowing that Pianoteq can be much more tweaked

I like both VSTs for my part and for their respective benefits. <

Next time I will try to make a more rigorous protocol maybe but it is above all a global approach that I had here in mind with this test.
