here's a tune that i've never heard played in a session or otherwise. in fact i don't think Richie ever recorded it himself (i would love to be corrected about that if there is a recording of him doing it ... he's one of my favorite players). i know that some music students at places like Berklee and Manhattan School of Music are into it, at least that's what a player told me. it's a cool progression ... very enigmatic.
Magnificent piece, budo! As usual your performance is really great... And I really liked the enigmatic character of the various modulations.
I'm not a big jazz expert but I really liked it.

Enigmatic - yes. Full of mystery and difficult to find the ”melody” in the sheet this time, when listening. I compare this piece with, for example, the painting Mona Lisa and Mona Lisa’s enigmatic smile. Or the New York crossword
BUT, precisely because of all this, your way of performing the piece - is fantastic! Might be one of the best so far.
And the ending: it is a bit like the ending in ”Ladies in Mercedes”, but, with the difference that when I was going to jump out of the car this time, I was left hanging in the air when you used the pedal on the last chord, so the note sounded slow and long..... I like your humor. Ending fantastic again.
