			<description><![CDATA[<p>I will be honest, this sounds more as a natural ringing, and not a distortion riningg like from verycheap pianos.</p><p>I notice if I play notes after the damper break point, like FF, alone. I wouldn&#039;t notice if I wasn&#039;t looking for it. We tend to follow others in perception, like a psychology factor somehow.</p><p>Maybe it wasn&#039;t as present in older versions, but it could be wrong before and was changed to better represent the original model.</p><p>Anyway it may be wise to record two mp3, one with the older version and other with the new, to show Modartt what exactly you don&#039;t like.</p>]]></description>

EQ changes and moving microphone positions (or switching to binaural mode) can make a big difference to the overall sound. Also, try bringing down the sympathetic resonance and duplex scale sliders in the Design section and see if that removes the &#039;ringing&#039;.</p><p>Also, changing the sampling rate affects the tone of the piano models as well.</p>]]></description>

It is not my cup of tea even if it corresponds to the original character of these pianos.<br />Not sure if this is what Davebass5 speaks in his post.</p>]]></description>

I really think it&#039;s characteristic of this piano. And I also like it. </p><p>Same ringing tone on the Steinway B, but more annoying to me on this one. <br />Could you try it and give us your impressions?</p>]]></description>
