I don't see a "Classic Dub Kit 01" option by the way, in Logic Pro 11.1.1 ... there's a Classic UK Hip Hop and a Dub Smash ... but oh well, maybe something in there will do the job.
you can select Classic UK Hip Hop , just Solo the Close hat ( yellow button) , Adjust the velocities in the sequencer every beat of the 32 sequences ) and play .
Here is the 3 steps in a picture, it should you less than 20 seconds to set it up. Hope it helps. Once you know how the sequencer works, you can create complex polyrhythms pattern rarely found in metronomes.

]]>When using Pianoteq as an instrument inside of Logic Pro, I haven't found a way to use Pianoteq's built-in metronome or its auto-record feature. I think these were disabled for a reason, as they're overridden by Logic Pro's own version of these things. However I prefer Pianoteq's due to the always-recording-in-the-background feature. As for Logic Pro's metronome, I don't seem to be able to use it unless I'm actively recording or playing a track, unlike Pianoteq's which (in standalone) can be turned on at any time.
Any help is appreciate, if anyone has found a workaround for either or both of these things.
One possibility in Logic is to use the built in sequencer called Ultabeat. To use it do as follow :
1) create a software instrument track and select ultra beat
2) You have many beats available, here is an example :
for instance select the Classic Dub Kit 01 ( in the Drum Kit section) , Silent the Dub Pedal Hat and you have a tick per beat
3) hit play button in the ultrabeat window , ultra beat is going to tick , and the Logic cursor for tracks doesn't move
The sequencer has many possibilities and you can actually create quite sophisticated metronome, once you master the sequencer.
