However my Amazon dual USB/Lightning charger dongle arrived this AM and like @Mr Roland wrote: works as expected. I was concerned that it would mess up the USB signal and add latency, but it is not an issue at all.

I have an older iPad mini which I've loaded Pianoteq 8 for a test. It runs well, doesn't lag and is playable. I like it better than the Windows 11 laptop setup I started with mostly because it is a much smaller setup and doesn't take up all the space on my music rack. I'm currently running an Apple USB A -> Lightning adapter for MIDI in that works fine.

Only problem is charging... I have to switch out the usb->lightning cable to the charge cable. while it's charging, I can't run my MIDI into the iPad.

I see Apple makes this dual input USB/Lightning to Lightning adapter: https://www.apple.com/ca/shop/product/M...ra-adapter

Before I spend $ 50.00(!) on this, has anybody done this and can you run MIDI into Pianoteq while charging the unit at the same time? Latency issues?
