Thank you for your kind words. I'm trying to get used to all this.

I still have a piano, my nord stage which was my 40th birthday back in september, it was after undergoing treatment and closing down my workshop and shutting a dream down, so I needed to tap in to what I'd walked away from years back and come back to what I'm best doing as a musician rather than a carpenter / developer.

I didn't mistakingly write anything, I know what I have here as part of my setup and as someone who's been involved internally with accessibility development for pianoteq and organteq 2, that's as I have it, pianoteq 8 studio edition which at present is happily running at 8.4, but the kawai piano isn't  part of my library as included, just a demo version because I've had pianoteq 7 studio edition for some time, so instrument upgrades ran out.

Sorry to hear about your condition and hope and wish you will overcome it eventually.

Regarding the piano that shows as a demo, you may need to update something in your account or in your installation, or maybe contact support to get something broken to be fixed, which I have seen happening from time to time.

I have Studio too (but have not updated to v8 yet, I'm still running v7 -- long story) and for me the upgrades included all instruments (even ones that were released after I purchased it -- I did not need to install anything more). AFAIK Modartt did not changed this policy, so your license should include those new instruments.

PS: we are on the same page on PayPal, exactly why I am wary of it

I don't touch paypal, had an account, was organising a studio rebuild many years ago and a buyer committed fraud against me for well over £20,000 for a console. police were involved, I was taken ill with a stroke, so, no thanks.

I can discuss with modartt how I could best make this sale here because what I'm going through, I'd never wish on anyone, the clue here is that the condition I'm battling I've been fighting and it's back, so I need to tidy up loose ends and wind certain projects down.

I'm aware that I wouldn't get what I paid for this, so don't know what really to ask for this, but the retail prices I paid for both certainly made the heart stop. I think I paid about £800 for both licenses, yes I'm in the UK.

If you have the latest version (i.e. v8) of Pianoteq Studio, you can freely update to v8.4.0 and that will include the latest piano for free, no need to "purchase" it. Unless you mistakenly wrote "Studio" but intended "Pro".

Also, I was like you with PayPal, but I had to reluctantly make an account because there is no other option (short of meeting in person or having to trust a random person on the internet, which may work but gives no guarantees), as far as I know. The trouble with PayPal which I really hate is that you can send money with ease, but if you want to receive you need to connect your bank account and that is a huge no-no for me because I don't deem PayPal security standard being high enough to give it the potential to completely deplete all my money.

And alternative, if both of you are in Europe could be doing a SWIFT money transfer via banks, which would be very safe. The only problem is that it could not be "tied" to the license transfer, so one of you have to trust the other more by doing the money transfer before the license transfer or vice versa.

I am considering selling my pianoteq 8 studio license which also includes Organteq 2. It's not that I am unhappy with this absolutely amazing software. Sadly, circumstances beyond my contro mean I need to bring in some needed funds and I would rather someone get better benefit from the software and use it to it's fullest.
