Interesting idea. I’m a fan of Chinese instruments, especially the erhu and its “ethnic minority” (from a Han Chinese perspective) relatives. Not sure it’s a good fit for Modartt — but years ago I didn’t think Arturia should branch out into hardware so I’m not much of a judge of such things. ⁎grin⁎

Hi there Guys and Dolls,

i very much love the sound of the Erhu, a two-stringed bowed traditional Chinese Musical instrument.

Especially in conjunction with piano sounds, like in this example:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foanqc-M4hw&t=87s

As Pteq already includes some instrument presets with combined piano & strings sound,
i wonder if perhaps Modartt could put some more effort into modeling bowed instruments, like for instance my favorite - the Erhu - and / or other strings too?

So that hey might come up with an Erhu-Instrument or perhaps a whole new Stringteq?

Would anybody else here like to see / hear / play something like that?

What are your thoughts and ideas on this?
