Yes, I need range, not much due distance but due obstacles on home, like doors, walls, rooms etc... Dongles are very limited for such obstacles.
Do you need any special performance on your WiFi ?
If not, just use a generic USB WiFi dongle, they are really small, cost less than ten dollars, and work without drivers in most cases.
To avoid spent money with new inside wall cables instalation on home, for the room where I want my digital piano and Prodesk 400 4G, I got a wifi network card.
The problem is that the card steel plate, to hold the card in the back of the CPU cabinet, is taller than the apperture of the back of the CPU.
What should I do?

I7 - 7700 is not an early generation, but is no match for latest generation i7. Even so, I think it can run well.

I haven't worked with that model specifically--though I have used similar models from that product line (with i3 or i5 processors) in the past. Off hand, I'd say it should be acceptable with ASIO4ALL. However, you may wish to consider a small, dedicated audio interface, as that might help take load off of the CPU and decrease latency (if only a little). Something like the basic models from companies like Focusrite, Behringer, or PreSonus--essentially any USB interface that's marketed for basic "studio" use--perhaps with MIDI ports and monitor ports--no preamp needed really. Plus, depending on the speakers/monitors you're use for sound--an external interface could offer welcome features like balanced TRS/XLR connectors that could further increase the quality of the sound/setup for you.
All that said, you'll just have to test it and see if the extra CPU load from using the on-board sound becomes a problem for latency or CPU overload, or if works just fine for you. Either way, good luck! Let us know how the setup goes for you.

It will come with stereo onboard sound. I have no desire to 7.1 sound or even 5.1 sound, as quality speakers for multi channel system would costs a fortune, takes space, and can easily dirturb people on house.
My intention is about just to use good old stereo. I would like to know if the onboard stereo soundcard of Prodesk 400 workes well with ASIO4ALL with pianoteq 8.
Any experience and advices about Prodesk 400 4G are welcome.
