Hi Ori0n

I'm also running a trial version of pianoteq on a Yamaha keyboard. My current setup is fairly basic and simple:

1) Remember to download and install the midi interface for your Yamaha digital piano matching your computer OS. You can download the interface file from the Yamaha website.

2) Connection: [USB to Host port] on digital piano to [USB] port on computer. In other words, the square end of a USB cable to the digital piano and the flat end of the USB cable to the computer.

3) Plug a pair of headphones to the headphone jack on your computer. Similarly, speakers can be used this way as well.

As I mentioned earlier I'm also trialing pianoteq. You will undoubtedly find lots of useful advice and tips on this excellent forum. And the documentation is also very well written.
