Mendelssohn’s ‘Wedding March’ is taken from music he wrote in 1843 to accompany Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.
The 'Wedding March' celebrates the marriage of Romeo and Juliet, ‘wedded with Theseus, all with jollity’.Notice the trumpets in beginning and some places and "ff trumpets" at the end part.
