Hey everyone quick update, so I installed nautilus and was able to launch standalone from it.
I connected to ALSA, but can't get my midi keyboard to be recognized. Any tips on this?
I use Linux, but don't use Chromebook or ARM. If your Linux environment has a graphical desktop environment and uses pipewire and wireplumber instead of the older pure ALSA and JACK, then try installing and using the qpwgraph graphical-connection utility for MIDI and audio connections, and see if that helps.

I know nothing about Chromebook, but in linux first a usb device must be recognized by the OS. Useful commands are lsusb (list usb devices), dmesg (which shows detailed linux scanning hardware) and amidi. Once the device is found, there may be a driver that is required and may be missing. Each folder has these files inside them:
Pianoteq 8 STAGE.lv2
Pianoteq 8 STAGE.so
Pianoteq 8 STAGE
So how exactly do I write the full command in penguin terminal to execute the opening of the file I need?
*I'm unable to drag and drop the file path in teminal as someone else had mentioned, is there another way to get the exact path info?
**it's running on Intel Celeron N4500, says 64 bit in settings if that helps. I was able to install lmms, and it works so I think I should be able to get pianoteq running as well with some guidance. I also install carla as some people mentioned that's what is used to run .lv2 files

In the folder where pianoteq executable is installed, for chromebook probably the arm-64bit folder, if not try arm-32bit
./pianoteq

Open à Terminal.
Then click on pianoteq and drag it in the terminal.
That will give you the command line.

Hi, open the folder where Pianoteq is located and start the program with a simple double-click. Which window manager do you use?
