I had plugged the line out of my audio interface to the mic input of the C210 instead of the instrument input as I should have done. Works beautifully now. Very impressed.

Now I need to learn some music to actually play so I can do a demo video.

"Loud” for sure, given the specs, ‘boxy’ probably has something to do with the crossover's (unknown...) frequency. I have a similar system from another brand, and I have to dig deep into the frequencies around 150 Hz to get an acceptable sound.

OK, I was thinking of a small hall and not a room... But then I wonder about your choice: a single line array will only give mono sound, whatever the model. Would a more conventional 2.1 system not be preferable?

I'm using a mono setting (albeit with stereo effect). Sounds really lovely through headphones and monitors. I'll report back as soon as the speaker arrives and I've got it set up.

This one (the "8" model), for example could perform in a +/- 100 people (or more) room with ease, but you need 2 of them...

So many choices... Budget ? Average number of people in the audience?

Small room. Just need more of a non-directional sound. £500 or so. Could stretch.

I'm looking for realism in the room. I've settled on some lovely settings in Ptq with the Steingraeber. It's my go-to now. Also looking to record with phone what comes from the line array within small band setup (live guitar and harmonica).
