Initially I found tuning differences between the two, but that was because I didn't put pianoteq back on equal temperament before enabling MTS-ESP, which is required apparantly to make it work correctly.

Perhaps you could specify what you expect to hear and how you test it to compare Pianoteq alone and tuned by MTS-ESP, perhaps there is some tweaking of the settings required to make it work correctly?
