If I set the same pad to latching it doesn&#039;t do anything.</p></blockquote></div><p>&nbsp; As far as I am aware Roland controller has been certified in 2023 with Midi 2.0 in the following environment ( Mac OS Sonoma) and Logic pro 10.8. </p><p>FYI :</p><p>Standard Midi 1.0 uses 7 bit for velocity ( supported by Pianoteq 8.3)<br />Standard Midi 1.0&nbsp; 2010 addendum added high resolution with an added 7 bit prefix&nbsp; using CC#88 messages with and an addition 7 bit&nbsp; so&nbsp; 14 bits in total for velocity ( Supported by Pianoteq 8,3) <br />Standard Midi 2.0 new UMP voice channel messages uses 16 bit for velocity&nbsp; ( not currently supported by Pianoteq in version 8.3)&nbsp; </p><p>It may well be that the Midi 2.0 version Roland has implemented also supports old CC#88&nbsp; messages to allow&nbsp; compatibility with&nbsp; Midi 1.0 Extended high resolution but I don&#039;t know if that is&nbsp; the case and I doubt it as I haven&#039;t read anything about it in their support pages.</p>]]></content>

It only supports 14 bits extended velocity (HiRes Velocity Prefix CC#88) which is an extension of Midi 1.0 and Disklavier XP .</p>]]></content>
