Also to do it well I bet it's much more expensive than getting an off the shelf solution like this.

Anyway, for you folks from USA, Europe, with many old grand & baby grands ruined being sold ultra cheap or even given away or junked, it's better to get one, remove the ruined strings and harp, and refurbish the wood body, add speakers, place the digital controller replacing the original piano action and voilá.

There was a video that made me nearly cry. A old imperial size concert grand being demolished by a giant iron sphere (demolish truck).
Why not donate the wood body or donate to piano restorers, who could replace a unsavable soundboard for a new one, change strings, fix action etc.... It would loss originality, would no longer be a true Steinway od Bosendorfer, for example, but would still have good use for someone or some music school.
