I recently upgraded to Pianoteq version 8.3.0. I read that there is an option described in the update list that is this new feature:
On Linux, a .desktop file is created if the --install-app-icon-and-quit option is used.

Can anyone tell me what this means?

It will create a launcher for Pianoteq under the main menu but it is buggy. Linux is touchy about spaces. The easiest way to fix it is to first run Pianoteq with the option. Now, edit (right-click the created launcher, select properties, select Desktop Entry and put the entire command in double quotes and click ok). Now it should launch Pianoteq via the Main Menu selection.

Can anyone tell me what this means?
