Thanks. I have an iPhone 11 and Pianoteq seems to work ok, but an iPad is more convenient and it doesn't tie up your phone.

You can probably buy a used iPhone and have plenty power left over.

You don’t even need the M1 iPad for this but if you can get one for a good price then it will be more than you’ll ever need, for a long time.
