Expressing the actual atmosphere with a piano is difficult, so using the piano was not initially planned for this piece of music.

The piano was mainly used to check each motif and the harmony, and this piano sketch is a byproduct of that process.

If you were able to relive even a small part of a good flight from this piece, it would be my pleasure.

This string music was created from the sounds of a jet plane during a flight from Tokyo's Narita Airport to Honolulu Airport in Hawaii, and from the impressions of looking at the clouds and the Pacific Ocean spread out below.
