			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Here&#039;s another project I&#039;ve started which takes advantage of Pianoreq&#039;s ability to change tuning.&nbsp; Fujieda (b. 1955) has composed a number of pieces based on bioelectric fluctuations of various plants, from which he extracted melodies from the sonic data, collectively called <strong>Pattern of Plants</strong> and grouped into collections of four pieces each.&nbsp; He published a subset of the pieces for piano, and requests that the piano be tuned in Werckmeister No. 3, a tuning commonly used in Bach&#039;s time that has more perfect fifths than the standard equal temperament (technical details in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Werckmeister_temperament">Wikipedia</a>).&nbsp; </p><p>This piece is No. XVII, Pattern A from the Fifth collection of <strong>Patterns of Plants</strong>.</p><p><a href="https://youtu.be/VT0fNe04eGU?si=RixEeukPZ2-eheow">Pattern of Plants XVII</a></p>]]></content>
