From an application development perspective, these are clearly solvable problems.

Of course I could buy an Apple iPad. But I'm in the other "church"...

If possible, I want to stay in my Android ecosystem.

I have had cheap Android phones ($100 to $200 range) since 2009 that I always replace every 3 to 4 years. I did have a brand new iPhone 2G (the first iPhone) and got tired of it. It was expensive ($600) and had a worse battery life because it needed to be charged twice or more a day. Since I got Android, I never go back. It's a phone anyway.

My first Apple product was in 2011 that I bought used for half price. Then I got my 2014 MacBook Pro 15-inch, and I still use it now for my music, work, and YouTube. I got it used too for $600 top of the line in 2018. All I need is to replace the internal SSD from 500GB to 2TB.

I got my iPad Pro brand new in 2020 with a teacher discount of $250. Still, I should get the used one for $450< cheaper.

I do have a 2008 Windows laptop i5 (Windows 98 installed required) that has still worked until now because it works with TECHNICS KN7000 recording directly using only a USB cable. It's on my YouTube channel. But for DAW, there is no chance.

For me, Android is best for phones, browsing, watching YouTube, listening to Amazon music, and WA. Android and Windows are not much different, in my opinion.

For music productions, Apple is the winner. The price is affordable as long as we're fine with a used one, which is way cheaper and more powerful than Windows.

There are many used iPhones that were sold because of water damage due to falling into a water sink and... But for used iPads and MacBooks, I never found one because it's a big piece of equipment that stays on the desk in a protected place. Unless it is already physically damaged,.

But, you never know, Modartt listens to customers and includes the Android system.

I would like to buy a 12+ inch tablet for the piano for sheet music and video tutorials. But of course it would be great if Pianoteq could also run on it.

I know that this works with Apple iPads. But they are very expensive at 12+ inches and I'm 100% at home in the Google/Android world and want to stay there.

Now I'm finding lots of "tinkering threads" on the subject of Pianoteq on Android (via Linux detours). But I can't find any official information about a planned real Android version that can be downloaded via the Playstore.

Have I missed something? What is the consolidated status regarding Pianoteq on Android tablets?

Are there any other cool tools like this around Pianoteq?
