The other minimal solution is to use bluetooth midi.  I don't know if P-105 has bluetooth midi, but if it doesn't you could add a bluetooth midi adapter to its usb port.  Either the Yamaha UD-BT01 or a CME device.  Latency is slightly worse than with usb cable, but you get a no-cable solution.
