pianoteq8 --fullscreen --midi mymidifile.mid --play-and-quit
plays the file back, but does not quit pianoteq8 after finishing.

I actually use a combination. pianoteq8 --fullscreen --midi "$(fd -e mid -e MID | sort | fzf --no-sort)" --play-and-quit

So I get to choose my file via fzf before.
