I tried right clicking. Presumably, if you select a different note and then drag a different tempo, it will change the tempo and be reflected in the midi? )

Thanks!

If you need a flat slowdown, for example 5% or 10% slower, you can mouse click on the 1x below the MIDI playback time counter for a (kinda hidden) playback speed menu. Options of 0.5x through 2.0x will open with optional dialogs for any value between 0.1x and 10.0x and a manually entered "Seek to..." value. Another way to seek is to click and hold the MIDI output and it will zoom and allow you to seek more precisely.

Hi all,

Is there a way to adjust the playback tempo of a midi file?

Specifically, I "wrote" a piece in Musescore, exported a midi file, opened it in Pianoteq, played it. All good, except I would like to adjust it to be slower (so I can use it for a sight sing duet drill).

I would take any Musescore or general DAW advice too, but slowing it down in PT would be easiest I think if possible.

Thanks!
