Well... both ! Without having any of those pianos at hand I can't reply, but of course in Pianoteq you should choose the corresponding setting: options > devices > audio output

For the Roland you must install specific drivers (to download from their website), I suppose it's the same for the Yamaha, did you do that ?

How do you play the audio signal from your laptop on your stage piano?

I'm looking for a stage piano that will let me play PIanoteq from my Microsoft Surface Laptop via USB through the speakers of the piano. I want to keep it simple and do this with just a USB cable. I've been advised by Roland on their RD 88 and Yamaha on their CK88 that those pianos can do USB audio, not just MIDI. But when I tried to make it work at a local music store, I couldn't do it even with assistance from store employees. Can anyone explain in simple steps how to make this work?
