Yes, there are a great many excellent midi files available on the e-competition website - several of them have been used by Modartt on the 'audio demos' page of the website. Here's an example (notice the references at the bottom of the page): https://www.modartt.com/modeld

You're going way back because it was a version by Hugh Sung, an early Modartt collaborator. That version was embedded in version 2.3, as I found out by booting my old computer...even in version 3.0.5 it was a different waltz as shown in the image below. It's copyrighted so not available. There are very good Chopin MIDI versions in the Minnesota International Piano-E-Competition, but the site seems to be down at the moment.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/SzLi9WeS3ewys5Wr7

In an earlier version of Pianoteq, the demo file was not a "blues" file, but a really great MIDI recorded performance of Chopin's Waltz in C# Minor, that really showed off the software. I can't seem to find it. It might have been in Pianoteq 4 or perhaps earlier. It really showed off the software as well as the differences between instruments.

I would be very grateful to find it again as was trying to demonstrate this to someone interested in Pianoteq, and the "blues" file just fell flat, sadly.

I looked on line and found some other MIDI files of it but they were just mechanical and not musical - undertempo and like a bad player piano. The MIDI file that was with earlier Pianoteq was much more dynamic and musically compelling.
Many thanks.
