When I was young there was a cantor/organist who sometimes surprised the congregation with his playing in the service.
WelI, I could surprise them by suddenly changing the key in the second verse

The oldest source of the melody is from August Heinrich Hoffmann von Fallersleben's "Schlesische Volkslieder" from 1842.

Härlig är jorden is one of Sweden's (and Finland's) most famous hymns.
