A few of them can modulate anything from any source. For example, in Bitwig you&#039;d enable the &quot;expressions&quot; modulator on a Pianoteq device, map velocity to Celeste, and tell Pianoteq to reverse the Celeste pedal. Soft key presses then have lots of felt, and it goes away at higher velocities.</p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="https://i.imgur.com/DInQ0Zl.gif" alt="https://i.imgur.com/DInQ0Zl.gif" title="https://i.imgur.com/DInQ0Zl.gif"/></span></p><p>Looks like velocity can be a modulation source in Ableton (<a href="https://patches.zone/velocity-as-a-modulator-ableton-live">link</a>) and Reaper (<a href="https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=189578">link</a>), too. You can adjust the&nbsp; maximum strength of the effect&nbsp; ( Thickness of the felt inserted between the hammer and the strings) and use the pedal to have felt on or off. I believe it also support variable values assuming your pedal is continuous of not , it will be a on/off effect.</p>]]></content>
