Using Pianoteq Grand Steingraeber Prepared

A prepared piano is basically one that has various objects inserted into it to create different sounds and effects.

The definition of a prepared piano is a grand piano that has been altered for the purpose of some musical compositions. These prepared pianos will have different objects attached to the strings in order to alter the sound and pitch, for a more" interesting and dynamic performance".

Well, I too tried to get an unusual, "interesting, dynamic performance….."

I wanted to upload this because I can't remember that I have seen anyone using Steingraeber here in a long time. When I started here i was using Bluthner and Steingraeber and U4. Now I like Petrof Mistral and Steinway B.

https://youtu.be/fsWhmN9kk44

Here an old recording 5 years ago, from 2018, with Steingraeber Bright Ptq 6:

https://youtu.be/pJ8mzzkQSqw

Best wishes,

Stig
