I actually did rebooting my computer before posting. Didn't help. A friend suggested shutting down my computer, interface and keyboard. That actually worked. What a relief!

Using a hub?
Try a different powered usb hub. Also try a different usb cable if issue persists.

I have a Kawai VPC1. I use PIanoteq in standalone mode. I was playing last night. Everything worked just fine.
When I turned on my computer today, PIanoteq didn't work. I discovered that my VPC1 doesn't even appear in Options. About a month ago a similar problem happend.
