Well spotted. The most common workaround will be just recording it in a DAW in the first place.
I think that's possibly why it hasn't been noticed by many people. At least not commenting here. Most (not all) will also have a DAW.

Thank you for the reply and confirmation, at least it seems to be an issue.

I have found a workaround (not ideal but if anyone wants to be able to record before it gets remedied), by doing the below:

Press the 'Record' button and then press the 'Play' button (nothing should happen). Press Record again and start playing - it starts to record normally from here and voila you have a recording.

Hi all,

I have just installed PTQ version 8.0.7 on a brand new install of Mac OS Ventura 13.3, have noticed the recording toggle on/off feature is back which is very welcoming - however my install does not seem to actually record anything - the midi window just sits on 'recording' and timer at 00:00:0 but no matter how many key presses I press on the VPC1 nothing else happens (sound of course works) - anyone else experienced this?
