It is an autobiographical story about Spielberg&#039;s early years. His mother was trained as a pianist, so there is lots of piano music through the score. The link above is to an interview with John Williams talking about how he created a piano-oriented score rather than his usual orchestra-oriented score. While the text is good, it&#039;s best to listen to the roughly 4 minute interview that is linked from within the article.</p><p>There is even one scene that is accompanied by some Scott Joplin played on a studio tack-piano....just to think, rather than having tuned and modified pianos, all of this in the score could have been handled by Pianoteq!</p><p>Great movie.&nbsp; 8^D</p>]]></content>
