Dear Forum Members,

currently, I am using Pinaoteq with a headphone which works fine. I want to buy a loudspeaker which gives a good sound in a room with approx. 40qm. Obviously, there are two different "technologies" available.

On the one hand side, one can go for a so-called Monitor System, such as:
https://www.thomann.de/de/midfield_monitore.html

On the other hand side, one can go for a high-end HIFI loudspeaker, such as e.g.:
https://www.acoulab.eu/

I know that a so-called monitor is used in a studio setting. A HIFI loudspeaker is used for all kinds of music in a living room. I have no idea what the differences are. But I can say that I want a loudspeaker which produces the best natural piano sound, generated with Pianoteq. And I need an active loudspeaker.

Any help and explanation are welcome. Thank you very much.
Stephan
