Congratulations to Modartt team.
In modern world 600.000 can be a small number of folowers for someone doing a lot of sh... like Youtubers showing lack of privacy, morals and self respect.
But 6000 is a relative large number for serious respectfull science, endeavor with advanced creativity and inovation.
That's because today idiots took controll of the world and become a mainstream...  The rest are in some way survivors of a holocaust, lets say.

In addition to users on this forum, I've always wanted to know how many Pianoteq users there are worldwide. Can anyone tell me?

The only people who can tell you are Modartt themselves, and I doubt they will. You can make some speculations though. You know from their "about" page how many employee they have, you can make an estimate of their gross salary, and from that you can make an estimation of how many NEW users they need each year to pay those salaries (given the fact that license updates and transfer are basically peanuts, and they probably don't even pay for the website expenses).

Then you can use archive.org to see what Modartt website looked like in past year and how many employees it had back then, and sum for all the years.

From my own estimate, I think it has many more customers than people subscribing to this forum. Either that, or all its employees are more like volunteers in open source software.
