I tried but could not reproduce this issue.

When I edit note volumes (note edit in Pro), then close Pianoteq, then open it again, all edits remain expected.

Are you saving your edits to a new preset of your own? (like "save as" in the menu and giving a name in a folder of your own, like "My-edited-pianos" folder with a filename like "YC5-edited-note-volumes-01").

Possibly, if you are opening Pianoteq by double-clicking on a preset (FXP file's icon on the desktop for example, instead of the normal Pianoteq executable icon), that may be opening Pianoteq and loading in, instead of the preset you edited before closing. If you have ver. 7 and ver. 8 installed, sometimes double-clicking an FXP file might open the wrong version of Pianoteq, and that may be a way to lose edits you made earlier in the other version.

Apart from that, I'm not sure what else would cause that issue - but feel welcome to give more details or clues for the forum members to think about - or maybe contacting support might help find the issue also.

Many times, after I shut off and restart Pianoteq pro 7, a few notes have changed volume level, always louder, higher
volume level than the last time I used the Pianoteq7. I play some acoustic pianos (YC) and some

MK2 electric pianos. I edit those notes that have become louder to make them same volume as

all other notes. But after I shut down and restart Pianoteq next day, a different few notes have

become louder than the other notes, and louder than the last time I used Pianoteq. Is there

a way to stop these volume level changes from happening between times I use Pianoteq? Some special

shutdown method to prevednt any unwanted program changes? I use Pianoteq pro 7 YC acoustic

pianos and MK electric pianos, in standalone, no daw host. I use a Yamaha YC61 keyboard set to

fixed velocity (I'm not a good piano keys volume touch player). I use a windows 10 pc connected by Steinberg usb midi

driver, latest version. I play other companies/brands vsts and do not have this volume change between uses problem, only on Pianoteq pro 7.

Is there any way to fix this problem, or prevent volume changes after I shut off Pianoteq 7?
