this has nothing to do with a Bösendorfer itself but with an bad piano tuner, who might not get the intonation done right - but this happens sometimes, although it shouldnt happen...

The major point of that issue is the "personality" of an instrument - not if it is an Bösendorfer or Bechstein or Fazioli or Petrof or Steinway or what have you.
The personality is what we like to see as well

I am sure Bosendorfers are very good. I also learned, having wondered for years about the strange and uneven piano tone on Keith Jarrett's Koln Concert, that it was the result of not having a Steinway available, and having to play on a Bosendorfer of less than immaculate condition. As I said, I am sure Bosendorfers are very good . But how I wish a Steinway had been available... or a Pianoteq.

Yeah, I fully agree, this would be really nice!!!
Bösendorfers are second to none and therefore should be a MUST in PianoTeq

Dear Pianoteq-team!

It´s about 10 years ago that I´ve heard about physical modelling for the first time and since then I have been waiting for a modelled piano. thanx for pianoteq, it was worth waiting.
I´m programming every day a new "Piano". for me the overtone section is very important. ( could be more )

I´m from Austria so I tried to program something like a Bösendorfer 290 type of sound which I like very much.

Are you planning to do a model of a bösendorfer?

I would be very pleased
