This is a short piece for piano from my Suite For Piano No. 1 (Op.12) and an upbeat study for a kind of classical style, à la Mozart, but freer in form. Out of the 6 pieces of the suite, this is the most danceable one and the accompanying video supports that idea of "On Pointe". I am writing music now, full time in my new studio in Portugal enjoying from my desk a magnificent view of the Mondego River; how inspiring!
