This is required when using a pedal for options like celeste pedals, I don't want it fully on or off.  I want a specific position and have that state saved please.

Every time I open up my DAW I have to reset the pedal position.

I requested something similar a long time back. The explanation as to why Pianoteq doesn't do this seems to make sense; basically the pedal position is a MIDI value, rather than a setting in the instrument itself. So loading up an instrument with half-pedal would be a bit like loading up an instrument playing an F# at velocity 76. And it's possible there's more to it than that.
