I've contact Modartt support with a bug report for this. When I submitted the support ticket, the confirmation screen said "Your support request has been sent. There are currently many who are contacting us. Therefore, the reply to your query can take longer than usual.

OK, I've now figured out that Pianoteq 8 has *three* settings called "attack envelope":
- The note-by-note setting on the note edit page
- The global setting on the note effects page
- The setting in the hammer bounce section, which only makes a difference when bounce is turned on

With the global setting on the note effects page, I can reproduce what I had in Pianoteq 7, providing I'm happy to have the same effect on all notes.

I still maintain that the note-by-note settings make no difference.

There are now 2 attack envelope parameters, the "regular" one in note effects , and another one in "hammer bounce" section. The later affects only bounced notes so you may need to adjust it to get those bowed presets back (we have added a few "bowed" presets in the pianoteq factory presets btw).
