Your example velocity text line shows two strings of numbers starting at 0, then 1. The one I copied only had one string beginning at zero.

Yes it's two series of numbers divided by a semicolon.
The first series represents all the X values and the second series all the Y values.

Example: Velocity = [0, 127; 0, 127]

This one draws a straight line starting from 0,0 to 127,127.

Maybe you overlooked something when you copied the string.

No that's not necessary, just create, load or paste in any velocity curve you want, and then click the small "G" button (bottom of velocity curve pane), This will make it your 'global' velocity curve.

(I have sometimes gone a moment or 2 in circles making sure my global one worked.. it's possible to have to right-click and "enable global curve" and "reset global curve" if you find it seems to not work, or if you changed it and turned it off one time.. but, it works well.)

You can just copy and paste the whole text line "Velocity = [0, 14, 27, 37, 52, 72, 98, 113, 127; 1, 8, 24, 41, 65, 85, 106, 118, 127]" into the velocity section. Just right click into the velocity panel and choose paste.
Right click again and choose "save as..." to save your curve.
This also works vice versa. Right click on the curve  "copy" ➜ open text editor "paste".
