Which piano is used in Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’? I’m going to buy a Pianoteq 9 bundle and I’d like to know which model comes closest to it… Here’s the extended version, where the intro features the piano more ‘on its own’ compared to the other instruments:

My old Yamaha Clavinova handled Strings always like this:
- key still down = infinite sound
- key up but pedal still down = slow fade out
- key up and pedal up = quick fade out

For instance if I make a strings-like background sound in Syngular. I would like the chords to slowly fade out after pressing them (and holding the pedals), but I would like the melody to keep sounding as long as I keep the key down.

Otherwise, perhaps a nice (optional) feature for a future update? (Do the developers read this forum?)

J'utilise Pianoteq depuis longtemps avec une carte son ROLAND U1-AG (cf.paramètres ci-dessous). Je souhaiterais savoir si avec une carte plus récente (par exemple MOTU M2)  j'entendrai une amélioration du rendu sonore, moins de latence ou si la différence ne serait pas perceptible (cela ne sert à rien de changer si l'amélioration n'est pas importante).

I have been using Pianoteq for a long time with a Roland U1-AG audio interface (see settings below). I would like to know if switching to a more modern interface (such as the MOTU M2) would result in better sound quality or lower latency, or if the difference would be imperceptible (there is no point in upgrading if the improvement isn't significant).

What follows is a short demo of a famous traditional tune played on the usual Equal Temperament (12-TET)

Now the 3rd note of the major scale is tuned to give a perfect interval - hear the difference...

PS - I haven't been paid to bring this exciting plugin to your musical ears. I just think it's a product well worth looking at and when (I say WHEN) MTS-ESP comes to Organteq I'm going to have a part of my own ... though I won't be drinking Champagne or any alcohol - I don't like the taste, or the effect (but that's another story - though not as exciting as this one - CHEERS PITCHGRID and MODARTT !!!).

- 4 Mic preset, 2 close 2 room.
- Changed Delay, a little EQ, and totally changed reverb.
- Don't know what I did with the spectrum profile, but just played around with it untill it sounded natural enough to me.
- Change velocity curve to what you want. This is only used for the demo file.

Unfortunately, the middle to upper register of the piano still soua snds synthetic and a little on the plastic side (atleast to my ears).
Any input would be well appreciated. Getting the tone right was almost purely by hearing, which took me hours on end to get to get right, so don't expect something thats immediately perfect the first time you try it. I'll update this mulltiple times, probably to the point where each update takes weeks to improve something.

(yes I know its a steinway, I don't have other references for other instruments. might do later)

I am looking for a Pianoteq License that has the instruments K2 and Electric. Just in case someone wants to sell

Unfortunately the installer has the dreaded NO SMOKING symbol on top of it, so I cannot install it.

And yet, when I asked the AI in my browser what the specs are it responded: "Pianoteq 9 requires macOS 10.12 or later..."

So according to my browser AI, this should have worked for me. What are the REAL system requirements, please?

So I would like to ask directly: why is it that, now that we have reached Pianoteq 9, Modartt has not yet included a dedicated factory velocity curve preset for such an important keyboard, especially when competitors like VSL and ViLabs have already done so?
I am aware that Kawai's VPC Editor software includes a dedicated Pianoteq curve, but I would like to have one developed directly by Modartt (unless that specific curve was already created as an official collaboration between Kawai and Modartt).

I would like the experience to be with hardly noticeable latency and no noticeable buzz, yet with minimal muddiness. 

I would just be playing in a room, no stage performance.  I love the piano sound I hear from Pianoteq and would like to upgrade my instrument choices to that.
